Directions to Lower Caher House from Durrus

• In the centre of Durrus village take the turning signposted KILCROHANE.
• Carry on through AHAKISTA and drive through Kilcrohane Village.
• Go past the signpost for Kilcrohane Pier and children's playground.
• Continue past the Dooneen Pier turning which is on the left and then TAKE THE NEXT LEFT at a Y junction signposted CAHER CILL - it is opposite a Concealed Entrance sign on the right).
• You are now 1.8 miles (2.9km) from Kilcrohane Village.
• Go down the narrow windy lane for 0.4 miles (0.6km) until you see a rusty cattle trailer on your right hand side. Turn right here and we are 60m along the track - we have a cattle grid and gates.
• You have now arrived at Lower Caher House in the hamlet of CAHER.
