Kilcrohane Village

Kilcrohane Village boasts buzzing pubs, wine bar, restaurants, a shop/post office. During the summer months there is craic galore in the pubs with music and dancing most evenings. Every night is a good night out in Kilcrohane.

The Bay View Inn is also in Kilcrohane village for bar food and Restaurant meals. Tel: 027 67981.

Bridgeview House is situated just past the Church in Kilcrohane. Evening meals may be booked in advance Tel: 027 67108.

The Grain Store Wine Bar and Telegraph Office Restaurant (O'Mahony's Shop and Post Office) is open Thursday to Saturday for dinner during the Summer months and for lunch most days al-fresco.
 
There is a tennis court and children's playground in Kilcrohane.

During the day take a walk on the stunning Sheep's Head Way (55 kms of walks), swim in the sea at Kilcrohane Pier or hire a kayak at Darrens Kayaks whatever takes your fancy! Why not spend a day in Bantry town or visit Bantry House where many music festivals take place during the summer months.

In the evening visit one of the pubs in the village or sample the menu at one of the local restaurants. We are not far from The Good Things Cafe in Durrus which has been awarded a Bib Gourmand award from the Michelin Guide 2008 and we are also close to Annies Restaurant in Ballydehob. O'Connors Seafood Restaurant in Bantry is a well known fish restaurant and is recommended by us.

Blairs Cove Restaurant which is just outside Durrus, is also famed for its famous fresh seafood and home-grown vegetables.

Visit the Mizen and Beara Peninsulas or explore inland - Priests Leap and Gougane Barra.  From Schull and Baltimore there are boat services out to the islands in Roaring Water Bay - take a trip on the Karycraft Ferry from Schull Harbour to the Fastnet Llighthouse www.capeclearferries.com
